Accelerating the Development of New Therapies

  • Patients/Trials

Patients entered on new therapy trials of the Scott & White Cancer Research Institute receive personalized attention with a dedicated senior physician and experienced nurse and coordinator. Each step is discussed and explained so that the individual has a full understanding of the risks and benefits before entering the study. Further, we have frequent-up to daily-reviews with the patient so that they are fully informed and supportive of all study activities. We select agents that we hope have the best chance of improving the outcome of the disease and provide a new approach to the disease.

  • Biopharma

The personnel at the Scott & White Cancer Research Institute offer partnership in the development of new therapeutics with our clients. All steps, from preclinical assessment to process-development, good manufacturing practice production and quality control release tests to pre-INDA meeting, pharm-tox and INDA submission to Phase I clinical trials can be completed at the Cancer Research Institute. We offer milestone based project relationships while protecting the Intellectual Property of our clients. Perhaps most importantly, we have vast experience working with the U.S. FDA on each step in this process.

Our institute is dedicated to the rapid development of new agents for treatment of incurable human diseases. We provide a dedicated team of professionals to assist in the synthesis and testing of novel macromolecules for treatment of diseases as diverse as leukemias, lymphomas, bladder cancer, chronic pain, sarcomas, thyroid cancers, and others. None of our personnel gain personal profit from the activities conducted at the CRI and all discoveries benefit a non-profit foundation dedicated to the benefit of patients with these ailments. We use all funds received expressly for the purpose of patient preclinical and clinical research.
