PURPOSE
Investigating new cancer drugs in novel setting
The Scott & White Cancer Research Institute (CRI), a non-profit arm of Scott & White Healthcare, is designed to accelerate the development of new therapies for human diseases. Opened in 2005, it is one of the few institutes of its kind worldwide, linking new discoveries and clinical care. The Institute, part of Temple's Health and Bioscience District, has 15 scientists on staff devoted to finding effective cancer therapies quickly and cost-effectively.
